Built in 2006, the three storey, 131 room Fota Hotel is situated on
Fota Island, County Cork. Just 20 minutes from Cork Airport, boasting
an 18 hole championship golf course, and sited next to Fota Wildlife
Park, one of the top ten attractions in Ireland, it is no surprise that
the profitable hotel will shortly have a new owner.
The Chinese
billionaire Dr Chanchai Ruayrungruang, of Beijing-based Reignwood Group,
is buying the 500-acre Fota Resort for more than €20m.It is speculated that The Reignwood Group are likely to
make further purchases in the area as well as invest significantly in
the Fota resort with the aim of getting the Irish Open Championship back
to Fota Island.
Whilst investment in the resort will mean that some areas
will be upgraded, the BLÜCHER stainless steel floor drains in the
wetroom en-suites are reported to look like brand new following a recent
stay by a BLÜCHER staff member and so should grace the floors of the
shower areas for some time yet.
However if a refit is in order then the new owners could install a custom grate onto the existing BLUCHER floor drain. Manufactured to the same level as all BLUCHER drainage products custom grates allow you to create a unique and bespoke wetroom environment that people using your facilities are likely to remember. From logos and crests to words and even pictures, a bespoke grate is the height of luxury wetroom drainage.
